US American Miss Carolinas is a natural scholarship based pageant system that is all about expanding the lives of the young women through an amazing pageant journey. From receiving the state crown through your journey to nationals, our delegates are treated like family and are given endless opportunities to promote their title. Whether it be appearances or community service and outreach, our delegates will have the most incredible pageant journey…all while being treated like the royalty that they are. USAM helps young girls and women develop important skills that will last a lifetime! And we award our delegates for their accomplishments along the way. At USAM, we want our delegates to be the difference in the world…..to strive for greatness…..and to have a lot of fun while doing so.
Jordyn Wisniewski
No stranger to the pageant world, Jordyn has participated in many facets: as a pageant judge, coordinator, coach, director, emcee and contestant. Jordyn's pageant history, which spans more than 10 years, includes participation, awards and titles earned in various local, state, and national pageants. Jordyn believes strongly in the healthy arena of pageant competition and encourages others to follow their dreams! An active volunteer for many years, Jordyn believes in the importance of giving back and making a difference in the world around her. Born in St. Louis, MO area, she attributes her hard work ethic and moral values to her amazing mother and the great example she set forth for her. She relocated to Fort Mill, SC more than five years ago where she has realized a very successful career as an Executive Assistant and Event Planner. Jordyn is also the mother of Saylor Cruz who has several pageant accolades over only 8 years of experience. Jordyn thanks God every day for her amazing family and friends and is looking forward to what this year has to offer her as the new US American Miss NC & SC State Director.
Karen Deese
Karen Langton Deese is a first generation American froj Liverpool England. She resides in Concord, NC with her loving husband Martin and beautiful daughter Brooke and her little French Bulldog babies Beau, Bubbie and Britt. Karen works for Atrium Health and is the Clinic Director for the North Region of Neurology, which consists of Cabarrus, University, Huntersville and Lincolnton. Karen is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Healthcare Leadership from WGU. Karen has been involved in pageantry for the last six years as a pageant mom, judge and contestant, having held many local, state and national titles. Please welcome Karen as our USAM Carolinas co-director.
